![]() ![]() ![]() Play a myriad variety of intensely artistic Super Mario levels from players round the globe. There isn't much "special" sauce needed for Switch repacks, just be patient and more testing needed with the emulators to make sure performance is satisfactory.Super Mario Odyssey (PC) - Free download Super Mario Odyssey - how to download Super Mario Odyssey Then, I make my archives as I would normally with any other game. I will also patch data out of the rom such as videos and audio which can be compressed better with other algos. I have a special config for XTool where I have plugged in Yaz0 compression support, so that instead of needing to extract data to users drive during install to my Temp-MASQUERADE folder, Yaz0 compression is handled as the FreeArc archive is being extracted by the installer - also speeding up installation! So, now that Yaz0 is out of the way, I will set up the game folder as normal to make my repack, configure the emulators. ![]() This is why all the NFOs state altered compression, and unfortunately this will break future updates (these games are unlikely to be updated though). So, before building my standalone NSP with Switchtor, I will recompress the game data. Because packing the files identically to how they come in the original Rom is impossible, instead both myself and FitGirl opt to use a third party tool called WSZST which can decompress and compress Yaz0 algo. In the case of all of these three games above, they use Nintendo's proprietary compression algorithm called Yaz0. ![]() Switchtor outputs a decrypted NSP as standard so I don't need to spend extra time using Hactool to decrypt it again afterwards. On a general basis, I use a tool called Switchtor to make an updated standalone NSP. If the download is in XCI format, dump it to NSP using SAK or 4nxci. First of all, I download the rom (.NSP) file, and update nsp files and any DLC nsp files. ![]()

![]() ![]() One other thing, I'm also a bit confused how best to use the Shakarn Propagation towers, Broadcasts and Propagators. Long story short, any advice greatly appreciated. I've tried searching on here and reading various advice on the Shakarn, but after a half a dozen attempts I'm still stumped. I'm trying to rush to get 4 settlements up and running in 20 turns, but I still seem to be short of food, energy, research and/or production no matter what I do. I went Voidtech in the previous mission, and have my commander and my other starting hero at level 8 when Mission 2 begins, so lots of skill points to play with. I also can't afford the upkeep for fortifying my colonies or expanding my military, so I usually seem to start losing the colonies either from the first Voidbringer army that spawns or from the wars with other factions that Chancellor Kor invariably drags me in to. The issue I'm having is it seems like everybody is more established, has a better economy and/or better units, where as I can't even afford the upkeep on the units I start with and don't have the time to get established myself. I've managed to complete the original campaigns, Revelations and the first mission of the Invasions/Shakarn campaign, but now I'm well and truly stuck on the second mission of the Shakarn Campaign. So I've had this game a few months now, mainly playing the campaigns, but I still feel like a new player. ![]() |
